Gibbens Drake Scott, Inc. is proud to announce the appointment of Jay Guerra to president, following the recent retirement of founding member, Tim Scott.

Jay’s experience and long tenure with Gibbens Drake Scott, Inc., along with his leadership, technical expertise, and his ability to connect with people make him well-suited to guide us into this next phase of our company.

We are so grateful to our founders, Tom Gibbens, Robert Drake and Tim Scott for starting this business from the ground up, and growing it into what it is today. We will continue to honor our company’s legacy, maintain our focus on the principles that guide us, while we look toward the future with big plans on the horizon.

Founded in 1983 by Tom Gibbens, GDS has developed collaborative working relationships with many owners, developers, architects, and contractors, completing private, commercial, and government projects across the United States.  Projects range from large, complex campus designs to quick cost-effective design-build solutions. GDS has always enjoyed the ability to freely communicate, solve project challenges, and work collaboratively with the entire design and construction team.
